测试，BBT盒子和阻碍物测试常用来测试手部总体灵活性。研究证明BBT上肢运动功能评定量表计数，用于脑卒中患者上肢功能评价，具有良好的效度。
测试方法为计数受试手60秒内移动的小方块数。测试时要求受试者尽最快速度将盒子里一英寸见方的小方块从盒子的一边移到另一边，移动木块的过程中要求受试手必须过中间的挡板。通过测试对上肢灵巧度和粗大运动的协调性可提供一个基本的评估了解。
BBT盒子和阻碍物测试-积木箱子测验使用简单，快速。适合低智商和/或手部灵巧度有限的人。配有150块1英寸(2.54厘米)见方的彩色积木。可闭合的盒子方便携带和储存。不含天然乳胶。
